SYNCHRONICITY

After five days in the Atlantic Ocean without views of land, Earth's rotation became much more apparent and distinct. Its spinning creates a rhythm where the Sun, Moon and the Milky Way appear constant. In the tradition of Odysseus navigating his perilous journey to his home in Ithica to safely listen to the Sirens, he strapped himself to the mast so as not to act irrationally from the sound of their singing.

With its lens wide open, the camera records the movements of ocean water that rocks the boat while strapped to the mast.
